FROM A COST QUESTION TO A RECORDED DECISION

Three questions your team can work through.

Who owns this spend?

Explore AWS charges and billing tags. Allocate costs to teams and keep unallocated spending visible.

Explore cost allocation

Did this deployment change costs?

Compare service costs before and after a release, assign an owner, and add business volume and operational health.

Did our decision deliver?

Record a baseline before acting. Review observed costs, comparable demand and operational health with CloudYield Proof.

INSIDE THE WORKFLOW

Go beyond the total on your AWS bill.

See how the same evidence connects a charge, its owner and the next decision.

COST VISIBILITY & OWNERSHIP

Give AWS spend a team and a purpose

Turn billing tags into a shared view of ownership, budgets and costs that still need allocation.

  • Follow the cost tree from service to region to supported resources and charges.
  • Allocate charges using key=value tags for teams, projects or cost centers. Review unallocated amounts instead of hiding them.
  • Compare scoped budgets and forecasts with finance and engineering using the same workspace data.

Original currencies stay separate. Resource costs require proven billing attribution.

DEPLOYMENT COST REVIEWS

A release deserves a financial review, too.

A release changed. The bill changed. Give your team a structured way to investigate both.

  • Compare equally sized completed billing windows around a release.
  • Record business volume and an operational health measurement. A lower bill with lower demand is not automatically an improvement.
  • Assign a responsible workspace member, record the investigation and preserve the evidence behind the decision.

START WITH YOUR DATA. KEEP YOUR TEAM IN CONTROL.

Connect. Investigate. Review.

  1. 01

    Connect AWS with read-only access

Choose permissions and billing coverage. Review collected data before drawing conclusions.

  2. 02

    Investigate the evidence

Follow services, regions and charges. See calculation sources, assumptions and missing data.

CloudYield Proof

An opportunity is the beginning. Review what follows.

CloudYield Proof keeps a prospective baseline, a change record and observed results in the same review.

  1. Record the baseline before acting

Choose a billed AWS service and a completed baseline window. Record business volume, operational health limits and the intended change.

  2. Collect a comparable observation window

After the change, use complete billing evidence for an equally sized period and supply the observed business and health measurements.

  3. Review the normalized result

Compare baseline cost ÷ baseline volume × observed volume with observed cost. Review currency, rates, scope and operational health before accepting the result.

Why CloudYield?

Keep the investigation, decision and result together.

AWS tools help explain the bill. CloudYield adds a shared workflow for ownership, deployment reviews and evidence of what followed.

Add AI when it helps the investigation.

Core financial calculations work without AI. Optional AI uses relevant workspace evidence; generated analyses and reports remain in English.

Before you connect your AWS account

Do I need AI for every analysis?

No. Collection, allocation, budgets, forecasts, and scenario calculations work without AI. AI chat, reports, and requested assessments are optional, with usage and estimated costs tracked. Reused evidence can avoid unnecessary generation.

What does managed AWS spend mean?

Managed spend is the AWS spending tracked by CloudYield, separate from your subscription fee. Starter supports three AWS accounts and targets up to $10,000/month in AWS spend. Enterprise terms are agreed with sales.

Does CloudYield change my resources?

No. The platform reads data and provides recommendations. Your team decides and implements changes in your AWS environment.

Are potential savings guaranteed?

No. Estimates depend on the available evidence and proposed scenario. Review prerequisites, discounts, and commitments before acting.

Can I subscribe now?

Workspace administrators can subscribe to Starter from Subscription and billing when Stripe is configured. Enterprise remains available through sales. Test mode never charges real money.
